Now that I actually have time to give a proper response to this (animal cruelty behind link):
There is no “wild” when you keep a pet. The definition of having a pet is removing a creature from the wild. The “wild” is no longer a factor when you are considering your own pet.

In fact, Samurott is based off the Giant Otter (Pteronura brasiliensis). It’s obviously been given things to match the shell-samurai theme present in its previous evolutions.

NUVEMA TOWN:

The game begins! After choosing my Pokémon, Bianca eagerly starts our first battle!
Her Tepig almost crits itself to victory, but then she chooses to spam Tail Whip (Thanks silly AI!). Oshawott comes out on top.
Next is Cheren with his Snivy. Repeated Scratch attacks prove futile against my Tackles.
After our battles, we make our way to the Lab (Man I wish I could turn tutorials off), and get a long-winded dialog from Professor Juniper, resulting in Oshawott being nicknamed Isaac.
More dialog…
More dialog…

And so the adventure begins. As soon as I step into the grass, I encounter a Lillipup. Not wanting to miss out on having an extra Pokémon, I take it as my first capture.
The next encounter, unfortunately… was a shiny Patrat! Both a shiny and a Pokémon I’d rather have. But, due to Nuzlocke rules, I have to kill it.
Before moving on to Accumula Town, I to do a little bit of training.
Isaac learns Water Gun.
Lillipup learns Odor Sleuth and Bite.

Nothing really happens here. Pokémon Center Tutorial, Team Plasma introduction, and a battle with N. Water Gun crits against his Purrloin and I move on with my life.

I enter Route 2, receive my precious Running Shoes, and set to work training on my way to Striaton City. I capture the first Pokémon I meet, a Purrloin who I name Omega.
By the end of the training, They’re all level 10, and Purrloin has learned Assist and Sand-Attack.
Just before I step into the city, Bianca runs in out of nowhere!
Challenge: Bianca!
Omega makes short work of her Lillipup, and I use Isaac for a quick Water Gun against Tepig.

When I reach Striaton, I immediately run over to the Dreamyard to get my free Pansear ♂. I keep Isaac out front against the two trainers, getting him to level 12. As a result, he learns Water Sport.
I rush over to the teaching place to progress the story, and encounter Cheren.
Challenge: Cheren!
To get some experience on him, I send out Pansear, who easily Incinerates his Snivy, and destroys the Purrloin with lots of critical hits.
Striaton City Gym:
Against the Waiter, his Lillipup almost KOs Pansear, so I switch out to Isaac for the victory.
Against the Waitress, Pansear easily KOs her Patrat and Purrloin.
Gym Leader Cilan:

I start out with pansear, but once Cilan’s Lillipup uses Work Up, immediately switch out to Isaac. I get a lucky crit to knock it out. As Cilan switches to Pansage, I switch to Pansear. Unfortunately I run out of PP for Incinerate, and Cilan uses a stupid Potion. I get Lick for the Paralyze and Scratch my way to victory.

Start Date: July 21st, 2012
Version: Pokémon Black
Starting Pokémon:

Basic Rules:
- Any Pokémon that faints is considered dead, and must be released.
- The player may only catch the first Pokémon encountered in each area, and none else. If the first Pokémon encountered faints or flees, there are no second chances.
Optional Rules Included:
- Adjusting the first encounter rule to ban duplicate captures.
- Banning the use of Master Balls.
- Rather than releasing the Pokémon, it can be migrated or permanently boxed should it happen to faint. (So if I fail the challenge I can go back to playing the regular game.)
- No catching/using of legendaries.
- As a mercy rule, allowing 1-3 “second chances” or revives of fallen team members (3 for the entire challenge. And they will most likely be exclusively used on Oshawott.)
Well. It begins. I’ll be posting updates after each Gym battle and big event.

Went into the ferret room today and nothing was strange or amiss. Calypso was asleep, the others were asleep, I scooped their litterbox and no abnormal poo to be found. Pretty sure Calypso just turned the truffle box over, licked one, decided it wasn’t good to eat, and proceeded to trash the room….
I’m over at the house now. I opened the cage doors, but I’m keeping a close watch on that gate. Calypso keeps trying to jump it again, and I make sure to scruff her every time.
ON A SIDE NOTE: I love her reaction to the squeaking lobster. It’s so freaking cute.
I know you want a cute baby ferret, but please keep in mind these few things.
That baby ferret will most likely bite you, because it is a teething baby that hasn’t learned right from young.
That baby ferret will most likely dig its food out of the dish, because they have so much energy and…
Yes, yes, yes, and yes. Reblogging to spread the word.
Also, shelter ferrets are probably LITTERBOX TRAINED. Kits are absolutely not.
I need to reblog this, it’s just the responsible thing to do.

You guys are gonna love when the new Great Expectations come out. Voldemort is Rose Weasley’s father, and Bellatrix is her (adopted) mother.
Sweeeeeeeet.
Wow.
